Normal movement occurs within a normal range of motion. People who engage in daily activities that effect full range of motion in all body parts maintain their joint motion naturally.
In my office, I recommend that my patients perform daily range of motion exercises between visits. This keeps the patient in touch with his or her mobility and stability. But just as many people don’t floss their teeth enough, getting adjusted provides the Chiropractor an opportunity to restore mobility and greater range of motion in those joints found to be restricted or subluxated.
